GREEN-fingered pupils at Swimbridge Primary School have been celebrating the opening of a new-look nature garden in a forgotten corner of the school. The previously very overgrown garden has been transformed into a fantastic resource for the staff and children thanks to new local landscaping company Garden by Design.Simeon Day and Ian Mclaughlin from the company cleared and revamped the garden, giving their time for free. The garden now has raised beds for the children to plant vegetables and plants in; a seating area around the pond; willow hedging; and lots of wildlife boxes. The Friends of Swimbridge School paid for the materials needed, with the help of a generous discount from Jewsons in South Molton.
