Johns of Instow are looking to expand into the premises next door and offer a new café- but they want your help to apply for funding.
Johns of Instow is looking to expand by opening a brand new café next door.
Johns owners Anthony and Sue Johns have purchased the lease on the premises next to their Instow shop, the former Waterside Gallery.
Anthony, who is the fourth generation to run the business which has been in his family since the 1940s, said it was an ‘ambitious’ project which would need a refit of the entire Instow store.
He said: “There will be additional space for local and regional products plus marketing it in a fantastic new environment.
“This will not only increase sales on items but attract more people to our local community.”
Anthony and Sue are applying for Leader 5 funding for the project and are asking people to support them in writing.
Letters must state how Johns benefits the community and how the expansion would enhance this.
Drop them to the shop by Thursday, January 14 or email email@example.com.
