There was a good turnout for the third annual sponsored Danceathon in aid of North Devon Hospice, organised by Project:Dance! at South Molton Community College. More than 30 brave souls completed the 12-hour marathon on Saturday, covering 12 dance styles in 12 hours including quickstep, rock n'roll, waltz, tap and 70s disco. The event is expected to raise over £1,500.Said Karen Moss of Project:Dance! "We are proud to support the North Devon Hospice in this way; I'm also proud of all the dancers that attended, in particular all those who completed the whole 12 hours; it was a great effort."
