Fire fighters called out to Cascades in Croyde on Sunday afternoon.

FIRE fighters from Woolacombe were called out to Croyde yesterday (Sunday) afternoon after a three-year-old’s foot got stuck in a swimming pool drain.

A crew from Woolacombe attended Cascades at Ruda Holiday Park at 4.40pm to find the child in the changing rooms.

They attempted to release the child but had to request a reciprocating saw from Barnstaple to help with the rescue.

A doctor also attended the scene as crews safely removed the three-year-old’s foot from the drain.
