A GRANT of 500 from their local councillor has helped the Northam Lodge centre for the handicapped buy IT equipment for its clients.
Northam Lodge, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is a charity offering both residential and day care services for adults with learning and physical disabilities.
The money, donated by district councillor Sam Robinson through his Councillor Community Grant allowance, was used to buy equipment so that clients can learn IT skills and view photographs they have taken with their digital cameras.
Northam Lodge has many volunteer helpers. For more information on the charity, including how you might be able to volunteer, call 01237 477238 or look at www.northamlodge.co.uk
