Council publishes strategic plan

The plan will outline the for the next three years in Torridge.

TORRIDGE District Council has launched its new 2012-2015 strategic plan in order to set out its priorities for the area.

The four areas the council will focus on are developing a prosperous and sustainable economy; supporting stronger, safer, healthier communities; protecting and enhancing the quality environment and being an efficient and confident council. The document considers the key challenges the council faces, and shows how it seeks to overcome these and develop the area.

Following consultations with the public, local community groups and organisations and the council’s partners, the document was approved by councillors.
