Council asked to release money for new BMX track

Decision on funding for new woodland facility due next week

North Devon Council is being asked to release nearly £7,000 for a new BMX track in South Molton.

The executive committee will meet on May 3 to approve the Section 106 developer funding for the proposed track in South Molton Community Woodland.

The money would come from public open space contributions from a housing development at Nadder Lane.

A similar amount will be provided by South Molton Town Council.
