TALENTED Cornish folk band Black Galleon will be sailing into Clovelly Parish Hall this Saturday (April 10.)

The original three piece band blend vocal harmony with dynamic instrumentation such as violin, guitar, mandolin and concertina, crossing musical genres with strains of acoustic, Celtic and folk rock.

The Clovelly show is the start of Black Galleon's spring and summer tour and to commemorate this date the band has written a song especially for the people of Clovelly. The new song will be debuted on the night and will feature through out the dates of the tour.

The band also released its new album Driftwood is Broken, at the end of last year.

The show begins at 8pm and tickets cost �7.50, including a ploughman's supper. Tickets available from Bucks Cross Post Office, Clovelly Social Club bar at the Parish Hall, or call (01237) 432348.
