WHAT to do with the North Devon College site at Sticklepath is the focus of an exhibition and consultation throughout this month at the Civic Centre in Barnstaple.In anticipation of its £100 million-plus move to a new home at Seven Brethren, the college intends to sell its current home.A development brief has been agreed with North Devon District Council and will now form the basis of a six-week consultation.The draft proposals include providing a mix of homes at a concentration of at least 40 per hectare - the entire site is 7.7 hectares - with at least 30 per cent as affordable housing.It also says public open space should be provided, plus sufficient on-site parking and suitable highways links and strengthened pedestrian and cycle links into the town centre.Comments must be with the council by 5pm on Thursday, April 10.
