It’s dubbed the happiest 3km you’ll ever walk or run - will you be entering Barnstaple’s first Colour Me Happy event.
With splashes of paint, colourful clothes and beaming smiles, the Colour Me Happy race - dubbed ‘the happiest 3km you’ll ever complete’ - is coming to Barnstaple.
Last year the North Devon Hospice held its inaugural event in Holsworthy, and this year a second date has been added in March at Rock Park.
Open to participants of all ages and abilities, you’ll walk, run, skip or dance the 3km route in aid of the charity.
There will be various colour stations along the way, promising you’ll cross the finish line in true style.
The Barnstaple race will take place on Sunday, March 22, with registration at 11.30am, and costs £15 per adult and £10 for children ages 12-16. Children under the age of 12 can enter for free.
A second event is planned for Stanhope Park in Holsworthy in autumn.
The date and details of this event are still to be confirmed.
The entry fee includes a pot of colour powder, and particpants are encourages to raise as much money as possible.
