Collision causes traffic tailbacks on Braunton Road

Two cars involved in an incident this morning (Thurs) cause traffic to build up during rush hour.

A COLLISION on the A361 Braunton Road caused traffic to tail back during rush hour this morning (Thurs).

Police were called to the scene on the Braunton-bound carriageway just past Ashford by a fire engine which had passed the collision around 8.40am.

A silver Perodua Kelisa from Ilfracombe had to be recovered from the scene after being involved in an incident with a blue VW Transporter.

Nobody was injured in the collision but traffic was heavy until the scene was cleared at 9.45am.
