THE Clovelly RNLI lifeboat launched on Friday evening to transfer a yacht crew member who had fallen ill back to shore.The Spirit of Clovelly went to the aid of the Bideford yacht Lucia at 6.45pm after a woman on board was reported as suffering form chest pains, cold and seasickness.The Coastguard had called an ambulance to meet the lifeboat after the casualty was put ashore and paramedics treated her at the lifeboat house."Our volunteer crew are pleased to assist all sailors any time day or night," said Nigel Eveleigh, Lifeboat Operations Manager.
