SIR - On behalf of the North Devon branch of CLIC Sargent I would like to thank everyone who supported us in Green Lanes on Saturday September 20. As usual it was a lovely atmosphere and everyone, particularly the youngsters, were very generous. We raised £229.53. We would also like to thank the two young men (teenagers) who came along so willingly to offer their help when we were packing up and taking our things back to the car.We would also like to thank everyone who supported us on the evening of September 24 at St John's Garden Centre when our fundraising evening raised a profit of £454. We had a very enjoyable evening of floral art demonstrations and delicious buffet. Thank you everyone for your help, it is very much appreciated. All money raised goes to help the children with cancer and leukaemia.Mrs June Wright,Bickington.
