A clean-up Action Day is being held in the Frankmarsh and Gorwell areas of Barnstaple next Thursday between 10am-4pm
The day is a joint venture between the Police, North Devon Homes and the local primary school
Local residents and street champions trying to tidy up the area, with help from the Works of North Devon Council and North Devon Homes.
Activities will include litter picking, hedge trimming, weeding, paths will be swept and graffiti cleaned off.

A barbecue will be held afterwards at Frankmarsh Stores, to reward the helpers.
Local beat manager PC Anna Fielding said: "There will also be an opportunity to get rid of any unwanted large items. All help from the residents in this area will be greatly appreciated.
