PAULO'S Circus Americano is visiting North Devon next week, but it won't be coming to Barnstaple.
The popular show was told earlier this year that it could not have its usual Seven Brethren site because it was reserved for travellers.
Despite a big search, an alternative site in the town could not be found.
The circus will be at the rugby club in Hatchmoor Road, Torrington, from next Monday until Wednesday before going to Victoria Park, Bideford, from Thursday, May 20 until Sunday, May 23.

The circus is presented by four generations of the Paulo family, the oldest circus family in the UK.
