Can you top Kevin’s Christmas lights spectacular?

The festive season is well and truly upon us - and many people in North Devon are getting into the Christmas spirit in a BIG way!

None more so than Barnstaple carpenter Kevin Carlyle, who switched on some impressive Christmas lights at his home in Kingfisher Drive, Westacott last night (Thursday).

Kevin and fiancée Laena Kidd are no strangers when it comes to elaborate festive lights displays.

And the couple are also becoming fairly well-known for their gruesomely fun Halloween displays.

In 2014, a Christmas lights display at their previous home in Springfield Road, Bickington, raised £130 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

And last year, the first display at their new Westacott home raised £294 for North Devon Animal Ambulance.

There are collection buckets outside the house and Kevin said that every penny collected would go to the animal rescue charity.
