STAFF and customers of North Devon Homes along with members of the Forches Youth Club have built a small mountain of shoeboxes and donations for the Operation Christmas Child appeal.

The 48 shoeboxes are filled with gifts help to spread some Christmas joy to children in hospitals, orphanages, refugee camps, homeless shelters, and impoverished neighbourhoods in Eastern Europe and Africa.

This is the fourth year in a row the company has donated shoeboxes and 2009 is a record breaking year and it hopes to build upon the success even more next year.
