BARNSTAPLE businesswoman Caroline Bramwell and her best friend Doreen Gowing will be pedalling their hearts out in Barnstaple High Street on Friday.
Their stint on racing bikes strapped into static turbo trainers is part of their training to cycle from London to Paris in just 24 hours to raise money for Scope the cerebral palsy charity.
Caroline, managing director of The Olden Group PR company, knows all about suffering. She had ulcerative colitis and took the brave decision to have the whole of her large intestine removed 14 months ago.
Now recovered, is is getting herself back into top condition.
