Support for British Hen Welfare Trust from the Omlet Eglu

A cracking idea has been hatched for World Egg Day today (Friday) to help a North Devon charity.

Omlet is donating £50 from every Eglu hen coop sold today to the British Hen Welfare Trust at Rose Ash near South Molton.

All the money raised will help even more former commercial hens enjoy a free range retirement.

Jane Howorth, founder of the charity is delighted by Omlet's fundraising efforts: "Our partnership with Omlet began nearly 10 years ago and along with sponsoring our welcome packs to date they have donated over £4,000," she said.

"Thank you Omlet, and thank you for your continued support!"

Since launching in 2004 Omlet has sold more than 35,000 Eglus and estimates that approximately 105,000 chickens call an Eglu a home.

The offer will run until midnight tonight, if you would like to place an order or find out more about the Omlet Eglu hen coop visit
