Council looks set to approve funding for anew camera to tackle anti social behaviour in the area.
NORTH Devon Council is being recommended to pay for a CCTV camera at Pilton Causeway in Barnstaple as well as improvements to nearby Rotary Gardens.
The executive committee will on Tuesday be recommended to approve release of 20,000 for the camera and 7,956 from ‘section 106’ money obtained from developers for public open space provision.
A report to the committee says the camera is needed to tackle anti social behaviour at Pilton Causeway, Pilton Park and around the public toilets.
