While people may be waiting for kittens there are beautiful cats "stuck" in pens waiting for someone to give them a good home, says Holsworthy and District Cats Protection.Muddles is a gorgeous five-year-old tortoiseshell female. "She loves to talk to you and would make a wonderful lap cat, although she does like a bit of her own space. She would be best suited to a home without young children and would really like to be an only pet," said spokeswoman Cathy Barber.Charlie 2 is a white and grey short-haired 11-year-old male, whose owner has died. He is a real lap cat, but needs a quiet home. Then there are Mary, a lovely 15-year-old tabby, Charlie 1, who is about nine-years-old and looks just like the famous Felix and Harry, who is nine months old, black and white and desperately looking for somewhere to start again.
