Police have identified the body of an Ilfracombe woman found near Combe Martin as that of Catherine Yearsley.
The 50-year-old’s body was found near Broadsands beach between Combe Martin and Ilfracombe on Thursday.
Formal identification has taken place and police have confirmed it is Catherine. Her next of kin have been informed.
Catherine was reported missing to police on Sunday, October 14 from her home. She is believed to have left in a Land Rover Freelander at around 8.30am.
Police said a file will now be prepared for the coroner and they would like to thank the public for their assistance throughout the appeal to find her.
