SIR - May I thank people in Whiddon Valley for helping us in our search for our black cat Sooty, who was missing for four days last week? These lovely people, especially those in Appletree Close, were very helpful. Sooty turned up on Sunday evening, looking a bit spooked and hungry, but otherwise fine.
