Car flips on A361 near Barnstaple

Fire fighters called out to reports of car on its roof last night (Thursday).

Fire fighters were called to the A361 between Lake Roundabout and Barnhenge after a car flipped onto its roof.

Two crews from Barnstaple arrived at the scene at 8.55 yesterday (Thursday) to find one casualty had already escaped the vehicle.

They made the vehicle safe and left the driver in the hands of paramedics.
