The Gazette is calling upon its readers to help identify who this forgotten photo album, featuring pictures of Bideford, belongs to.

A forgotten photo album uncovered at a house in Northam has provided a glimpse into the town’s history.

But it not know who the album, which features family and friends in photos around Bideford and North Devon, belongs to.

Jill Adams brought the album into the Gazette offices in a bid to reunite it with its mystery owner.

She said her son had moved out and she had discovered the album in his room when they were redecorating.

She said: “It would be nice to reunite the album with its owner.

“It’s a lovely album full of pictures; it’s the sort of thing you would save in a fire.”

The photos appear to have been taken in the 1970s and include snapshots of friends, holiday pictures and scenes from around Bideford.

There are also some class photos from Binley Park School in Coventry, from September 1960 and September 1962.
