THE Braunton Wheels event will be making a comeback this summer after a five-year absence from the village.

Local charity Calvert Trust Exmoor is sponsoring the event at the Braunton Recreation Ground on Sunday, July 25. The Wheels extravaganza ran successfully for 10 years up until 2005 and visitors to past Wheels will remember that all modes of transport were on display at the show - ancient bicycles and double decker buses, motor bikes and vintage cars, steam engines, tractors and much more - anything with wheels is welcome!

It is expected to be a great family fun day and in addition to the wheeled exhibits there will be amusements, trade stands, charity stalls and refreshments.

The organisers would like to hear from anyone who would like to display their "wheels" at the event. Traders and charities that would like to take part or book a stall are also invited to contact Rachel Shortridge at the Calvert Trust on (01598) 763221 or email fundraisingexmoor@calvert-trust.org.uk.
