Handmade ornaments will go on display in the Little Bridge House garden for the summer
Commemorative butterflies have been created to celebrate 25 years of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).
The handmade ornaments are now available to buy through the charity’s website.
The limited-edition butterflies have been individually hand-crafted by Devon-based blacksmith Graham Cumes.
Each one purchased will form part of an installation this April at all three CHSW hospices, including Little Bridge House in Fremington.
They will be on display until September before being sent to the people who bought them.
Emma Perry, senior community fundraiser at CHSW, said: “For however long a child is with Children’s Hospice South West, that time is filled with opportunities for fun and laughter, and our aim is to create very special memories for the family.
“These beautiful butterflies are the perfect way to celebrate short and precious lives, and after they have been displayed at our hospices, they will make a perfect garden decoration.”
The butterflies are priced at £15 and available now from Little Bridge House or via www.chsw.org.uk/butterfly
