A PLANNING application has been submitted to Torridge District Council for the development of a new business park on the outskirts of Torrington.Torrington Community Development Trust has submitted plans for seven small to medium-sized work spaces, eight self-contained office units and a training centre with classroom, conference room and administration facilities at Hatchmoor.Charles O'Hagan, chairman of the CDT said this was something they had been working on for many years. They owed much to the generosity of Mr John Singh who was developing a new care village at Hatchmoor for making part of his land available to them, he said. And they were grateful for a £200,000 grant towards the project from the South West Regional Development Agency.
