Stagecoach makes donation to Remembrance Day appeal.
NORTH Devon bus drivers are wearing their poppies with pride to mark Remembrance Day.
Stagecoach Devon has donated £800 to the Royal British Legion appeal to enable all its drivers, depot and bus station staff – including 132 in North Devon – to wear a poppy while on duty.
Assistant manager Andy Leat said: “Many of our staff are ex-service and we always support the appeal at this time of year and help raise as much money as possible for this wonderful cause.”
Matt Harvey, Tracey Barclay and Phil Halliwell are pictured with their poppies outside Barnstaple Bus Station.
