A BARNSTAPLE nursery retailer has come to the rescue of the young mum barred from a bus because she was unable to fold her baby's buggy. The story, featured on the front page of last week's Gazette, caught the eye of James Webber, of Bear Street baby equipment specialist Cyril Webber.Generous James telephoned the Gazette to offer Hannah Lavercombe, 22, a brand new Silver Cross "Pop" pushchair that can be easily folded with one hand, making it ideal for getting on and off buses."We saw the story about how Hannah and Max struggled to get on and off the bus with her existing pushchair and thought it'd be nice to help out," said James."The Silver Cross buggy is lightweight and has a one-handed adjustment system that makes it the perfect choice for parents on the move."Hannah, husband Nick, 24, and 10-week-old son Max went along to pick up their brand new award-winning pushchair at the shop on Monday."It's great," said Hannah, from Pilton."We'd both like to say thanks to Cyril Webbers - and the Gazette - for helping us out."The new pushchair is really easy to open, fold, and store. We're going on our first holiday as a family in the next few weeks and the new buggy will help us out no end.
