Storm-damaged slipway will officially reopen in ceremony on Tuesday.

The slipway at Bucks Mills which was destroyed in winter storms will be officially reopened on Tuesday.

In February last year, huge spring tides smashed giant holes in the quay wall and completely washed away the slipway to the beach.

A short opening ceremony will take place at 10am by Torridge District Council (TDC) chairman Mervyn Langmead.

The work was carried out thanks to TDC, the Environment Agency, FLAG and the Marine Management Organisation.
