FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire in Buckland Brewer this morning (Wednesday). A Bideford fire crew, called out at 7.15am, confirmed a chimney fire involving a woodburning stove and involving a beam within the chimney breast. It was extinguished
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire in Buckland Brewer on Wednesday morning (Sept 29).
A Bideford fire crew, called out at 7.15am, confirmed a chimney fire involving a woodburning stove and involving a beam within the chimney breast.
It was extinguished using one hose reel jet and small tools to cut away hot spots.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
