A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed following a collision with a heavy goods vehicle in Barnstaple today (Wednesday).

The accident happened at the Sticklepath Hill roundabout, near the new downstream bridge, at around 1.30pm.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area; all traffic from Braunton Road is being diverted, while the Halfords roundabout is also being closed and may be closed for some time.
