POLICE are appealing for information following a break-in at an 11th century Barnstaple church.

Wooden doors at the St Mary the Virgin church in Pilton were damaged when they were forced open between 1.30 and 4.30pm on Sunday, June 21.

Although nothing is thought to have been taken, police still want top speak to any witnesses in the Bull Hill area at the time of the incident.
