Talks on natural history and heritage topics at Braunton Countryside Centre this September

Discover some of the hidden mysteries and wonders of Braunton and the North Devon area with the ongoing series of Braunton Countryside Centre talks.

Each talk is held at the centre by Caen Street car park every Wednesday at 7.45pm and the series continues until the end of September.

This Wednesday, August 30, find out about Birdlife on the Taw-Torridge Estuary with Philip Marlow.

On September 6, Paul Madgett will be speaking on Creating a Wildlife Garden and on September 13 discover Bumblebees with Dr Cathy Horsley.

Terry Green will introduce the Archaeology of North Devon on September 20 and enter the World of Fungi with Eirene Williams on September 27.

Admission to each talk is £3 and this includes refreshments.

The talks are organised by Mary Breeds and proceeds from them go towards funds to help keep the centre running.
