FEBRUARY might already seem rather cold, but the launch of the Goldcoast Oceanfest 2008 festival website is a sure sign that summer is only just around the corner. This year sees the 10th anniversary of what has become one of Europe's hottest beach, surf and music events. Plans for this year's event at Croyde on June 20, 21 and 22 are already well-advanced, and tickets are now available through a "Locals and Loyals" earlybird scheme launched at goldcoastoceanfest.co.uk this week."We want to be able to give locals and loyal members who have purchased tickets previously, or subscribed to the members newsletter, the advance opportunity to purchase tickets for a short period of time at the same price as last years gate rates," said event director, Warren Latham."Hopefully you should find navigating yourself around the new website and the various departments a little easier," he added."Right off the top from the home page, you fast track straight into the main areas of sport, music and the box office."We have maintained all the usual links and information surrounding the event and taken into account people's comments, to make this site as comprehensible and helpful as possible." The earlybird period expires on the March 31 and thereafter the official ticket prices for 2008 will kick in.For more information, visit goldcoastoceanfest.co.uk
