Blazing car clogs holiday route

HEAVY traffic clogged the popular holiday route of the A399 at Brayford on Friday afternoon as fire fighters dealt with a car ablaze on the highway. A crew from South Molton attended the incident, the cause of which is thought to be accidental, at 2.25pm.

A crew from South Molton attended the incident, the cause of which is thought to be accidental, at 2.25pm.

Police were called to deal with the traffic as fire fighters extinguished the fire using two sets of breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets.
