North Devon Biosphere Reserve is hosting an international evening in Barnstaple this month to discuss how the region might work with similar areas overseas.The evening of presentations and interactive discussions will includeamong its topics the biosphere reserves in Kenya, North America and the Congo Basin.Andy Bell of the North Devon Biosphere Reserve said: "We hope this will be a catalyst for discussion on how North Devon's communities might work for mutual benefit with our overseas colleagues that are also living in biosphere reserves. The discussions will not be just about the environment, but also about the people and their lives in these other special places."Speakers will include Pete Jollands of the Hallsannery Centre at Landcross, Steve Mulberry from the National Trust and Andy Bell.
