THE perfect picnic for babies is being held in Victoria Park, Bideford, next Wednesday.
Breast feeding or expecting parents are invited to the Bideford Bay Children Centre's Breastfeeding Picnic in the Park from 1.30pm-3pm and to take along a plate of food to share with others.
The picnic is being held as part of National Breastfeeding Awareness Week.
Mandy Jarvis, Community Nursery Nurse, said: "Breast feeding is the most natural thing in the world. We want to help mums feel comfortable and safe when they are feeding their baby. We want to help make breast feeding a positive experience for mothers and to help them feel good about breast feeding their babies - any time, any place."

Bideford Bay Children's Centre also runs a regular breast feeding support group which, from 19 July 19, will be held on Monday afternoons.
