INFORMATION is being sought about the theft or whereabouts of a specialist BMX racing bike that has been stolen in Bideford.

The bike, worth around �1,000, was taken from a shed at the Bideford property on Friday, February 19.

Police said that it belongs to a BMX enthusiast who has devoted a great deal of time to helping young people at a local BMX racing club and is special to him as its was bought as a surprise present from his wife and son.

The bike is an xxl framed black Kuwahara with Laserteam also on the frame. It has black Answer Sythe Pro carbon fibre front forks, chrome handlebars and a black and white set.
