ATLANTIC Village Outlet Centre, in Bideford, is backing local expertise by appointing Barnstaple-based Juice Advertising as its sole marketing agency.The 95,000 sq ft outlet centre - owned by Development Securities Plc and asset managed by Wessex Investors Ltd - had previously used four agencies in London and the North West to handle its marketing.Centre Manager Jane McLeod said: "We have had experience of working with Juice and its MD, Sam Richards, over the last nine years and, given that they are not only local to us but have retail and particularly shopping centre marketing expertise, we were keen to see what Juice could offer Atlantic Village. "The Juice pitch demonstrated not only an exceptional degree of creativity, but also very competitive media buying. They know Atlantic Village, our target audience and the regional media like the back of their hand and already we are seeing an increase in footfall as a result of the campaigns rolled out by Juice Advertising."Sam Richards, managing director of Juice Advertising, said: "We are delighted to have been appointed as the sole agency to Atlantic Village. We already work with a number of shopping Centre clients, not only within the South West, but also across the rest of the country and having been 'knocking on the door' for many years. Furthermore, the cost efficiency of Juice has allowed us to invest in more media than previously and this summer will see heavyweight outdoor campaigns targeting the tourists across our region.
