Bidefords will be celebrating music through the decades for New Years Eve on Saturday. The event hopes to see thousands of revellers packing the quayside for an evening of entertainment before the big midnight countdown to see in 2017. There will be goody bags and prizes for the best fancy dress. During the day there will be a disco and childrens entertainment at Bideford Youth Centre from 1pm-5pm with music, magic and exotic animals. On the main stage on The Quay there will be live music from 8pm-11.35pm, with One Man Boycott headlining at 10.30pm. At midnight there will be a stunning fireworks display put on by SB Pyrotechnics - and organisers say they have something special up their sleeves. We dont want to give too much away but join us for a display which is sure not to disappoint, added Phil Morgan, of Bideford Festivals Commitee. And for any last minute fancy dress, Bidefords popup Funders Fancy Dress shop will be open at Bideford Blues Club on The Pill from Monday Thursday.
