Crowds turned out to enjoy music and entertainment in Bideford on Saturday. The Bideford Music Day took place in Victoria Park throughout the afternoon. The day was organised by the Rainbo Music Trust. Live music on the main stage came from Soulcraft, Josh Beer and the Underground, Boogiewax, The Verbals, Brockabilly, Rees Parkhouse and Highly Contagious. On the accoustic stage was Wilderland, India Akca, Reed Allen, Roger Colome, Sab Beatz and Kevin Green.Lucy Lowe, one of the organisers, said: It was a fantastic event - it was extremely well attended. We estimate 3,000 visitors throughout the day. The music workshops were fantastic, lots of children and adults getting involved and taking the opportunity to play the instruments,including drums, guitars and ukelele. The bands and musicians that performed at the event were all absolutely amazing. It was a really fantastic community event and we are looking forward to next years event.Entertainment also included stalls, inflatable fun and game and rides.
