BIDEFORD Bridge Rotary has raised more than £6,000 for local charities through its 10th annual darts marathon. Thirty pub and club teams took part and the finals night was held at the Milky Way Adventure Park near Clovelly.The overall winners were the Coach & Horses at Appledore, who raised over £1,184 alone. The highest individual score was achieved by Ian Stoneman of the Grove Inn at Bishops Nympton, while the winners of the round Robin darts tournament on the night were The London Inn from Kilkhampton.Bideford Bridge Rotary Club president David James said: "The Rotary Darts Marathon has raised £72,000 over the last 10 years and yet again this year's participating teams have pulled out all the stops to raise funds for local charities.
