PLANS for a new clubhouse for Bideford Cricket Club will come before Torridge District Council's planning committee next week.

The club is proposing to demolish its existing clubhouse and replace it with a new one and a greenkeepers storage unit.

The committee is being recommended to approve the application when it meets on Thursday on the basis that the proposal is acceptably designed, not impacting unreasonably on other nearby properties.
