A YOUNG Bideford company has struck Olympic gold.

TC Office Interiors on the Clovelly Road Industrial Estate has over the past two years gained £1 million of business from work in London preparing for the 2012 Olympics. And there is hope of more to come.

Established by owners Adrian and Rebecca Sealey just three years ago in a garage in Dolton, the busy business now operates from an industrial unit in Bideford and employs 10 full-time staff, plus a nucleus of sub-contractors.

Specialising in office fittings and refurbishment, the company has been working in London since 2007, designing and fitting out offices and 'welfare furnishings.' This includes desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, lockers, canteen tables, cloakroom furnishings, plus floor coverings, ceilings and partitions for the construction companies at work building the Olympic stadiums and village.

"One of the major construction companies has 600 office staff there," said Adrian.

In addition to the construction companies, TC Office Interiors has also just set up an office for the Olympic Delivery Authority and is hoping further work will develop from them in the next couple of years.

"The company has grown largely around the needs of the construction industry and is also down to a good, close-knit team," said Adrian. "We have been very lucky.
