BIDEFORD Town Band's series of weekly summer concerts gets underway this week.

The band will play on Bideford Quay from 7.30pm on Thursday and every fortnight until August 26 weather permitting. On alternate weeks, they will play in Westward Ho!

All the funds raised at the concerts will go towards the band's band room.
