The store is one of 30 stores being axed in the firm’s second wave of closures.

Barnstaple's BHS store will close its doors for good on Saturday.

The shop, which is situated in Green Lanes Shopping Centre, is one of 30 stores being shut down in the second wave of closures.

The first 20 shut last week, and it is expected all of the remaining 114 stores will be closed by August 20.

The store has been running closing down sales since administrators Duff and Phelps announced the firm would be 'wound down' on nearly two months ago.

The company filed for administration in April, after failing to find a buyer for the business.

Up until then, the firm had been looking for a 'significant reduction' in rent to keep the store open.
