A LEADING South West business networking and support organisation that started life in Barnstaple will now be able to provide even better support for local independent businesses.The Business League has announced that it will be working more in partnership with national Government-led business support, information and advice initiative, Business Link.Founded in 2004, the Business League hosts weekly breakfast clubs, as well as business shows and other events for members. It now boasts 28 clubs from Penzance to Bristol, including two in Barnstaple and one in Bideford."For some time now we have been talking to Business Link about what we do as an organisation and it seemed a natural progression to work together wherever possible," said Kevin Allen, the League's co-founder and chief executive."We feel this partnership will be of great benefit to the business community as we begin to roll out our joint ideas for events, clinics and marketing promotions.
