THE perils of dogs' mess will quite literally be "flagged up" from Monday of next week as the National Trust joins the North Devon Dog Warden and local PCSO to encourage owners to clear up after their pets.Trust wardens will be at Woolacombe Warren raising awareness of the problem caused by a minority on the region's beaches and dunes.Clean-up bags will be handed out and offending deposits marked with flags to highlight the extent of the problem."We want people to feel their children can play on the beach or the Warren safely," said NT area warden Jonathan Fairhurst."The majority of dog walkers are very responsible and do clean up after their pets but some do not and give the rest a bad name.
